Terms and conditions

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of publicholidaysworld.com (the “site”), run by Public Holidays World (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

The site provides free general information about public holidays, long weekends, typical weather, weather forecasts, time zones and related planning tools. We may change, add or remove features at any time, and we may suspend the site for maintenance.

2. Information only

Holiday dates are for general information. They may be incomplete, estimated (for example holidays that depend on moon sighting) or changed by governments at short notice, and regional and municipal holidays may be missing.Official government announcements always take precedence. Typical weather is an average of past years and forecasts can be wrong. Before relying on any information, for example for travel, payroll, contracts or legal deadlines, check with the relevant authority, your employer or the business concerned.

3. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, up to date, uninterrupted or free of errors.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its information, including lost profits, missed bookings or travel costs. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the site and download calendar files for personal use and for internal use in your organisation. You must not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or harms the site or its users;
  • scrape or copy the site in bulk, or send automated requests that place an unreasonable load on it;
  • try to break, probe or bypass the site’s security, including the spam protection on the contact form;
  • use the contact form to send spam, advertising we did not ask for, or unlawful content.
